Mass spectrum
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007000
A plot of ion abundance versus mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) obtained from a mass spectrometer. This graphical representation provides information about the molecular weight and structural characteristics of compounds within a sample. The x-axis typically represents m/z, while the y-axis indicates the relative intensity or abundance of each ion.
