MS/MS spectrum
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007608
A plot of ion abundance versus mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) generated from a tandem mass spectrometry experiment. This spectrum represents the fragmentation pattern of a selected precursor ion, providing structural information about the molecule. The fragmentation process occurs in a collision cell or reaction region, yielding product ions that are then mass analyzed.
