Microplate standards
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013289
A set of dimensional specifications, published as ANSI/SLAS standards 1 to 4, that fix the footprint, height, flange and well positions of microplates so that they fit robots, readers and liquid handlers. They were first issued in 2004 under the Society for Biomolecular Screening name. Plates of 96, 384 and 1536 wells share the same 127.76 mm by 85.48 mm footprint.
