Mixture

A substance containing two or more distinct chemical species or substances that are not chemically bonded to each other. The components retain their individual chemical identities and properties within the mixture. Mixtures can be separated into their constituent substances by physical means, such as distillation or filtration, without chemical reactions occurring.
