Calibration mixture

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012941

A precisely prepared sample containing known concentrations of one or more analytes, used to establish the response of an analytical instrument. This mixture allows for the creation of a calibration curve, which relates instrument signal to analyte concentration. The accuracy of subsequent measurements depends directly on the quality of the calibration mixture.
