Monte Carlo study
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007569
A computational method that uses random sampling to obtain numerical results, particularly for problems that are difficult to solve analytically. It involves running multiple simulations with random inputs to model the behavior of a system or to estimate probabilities. This approach is widely applied in toxicokinetics to assess variability and uncertainty in exposure and dose estimates.
