Multiplex spectrometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007671
An optical spectrometer that measures all elements of a spectrum simultaneously, rather than sequentially. This is achieved by encoding the spectral information in a way that allows for its reconstruction from the detected signal. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers are a common type of multiplex spectrometer.
