Hadamard transform spectrometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005068
An optical instrument that uses a Hadamard encoding mask to modulate the light from a source before it reaches the detector, allowing for multiplexing of spectral information. Instead of dispersing light into its constituent wavelengths directly, it measures a series of encoded spectral elements. This approach can offer a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to dispersive spectrometers under certain conditions.
