Filter spectrometer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004425

An optical instrument that uses optical filters to select specific wavelengths or wavelength ranges for analysis, rather than a dispersive element like a prism or grating. It operates by passing radiation through one or more filters before it reaches a detector. This type of spectrometer is often used for applications requiring high light throughput and specific wavelength isolation.
