Multistage cluster sampling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007681
A sampling technique that involves selecting samples in stages, where larger units (clusters) are first selected, and then smaller units within those selected clusters are sampled. This method is particularly useful when a complete list of individual units is unavailable or when the population is geographically dispersed. It is commonly used in large-scale epidemiological studies.
