Complete linkage
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002321
A hierarchical clustering method where the distance between two clusters is defined as the maximum distance between any single element in the first cluster and any single element in the second cluster. This approach tends to produce compact, spherical clusters. It is one of several linkage criteria used to determine how clusters are merged in hierarchical clustering algorithms.
