Unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012457

A hierarchical clustering algorithm that constructs a dendrogram by iteratively merging the two closest clusters. The distance between two clusters is calculated as the average distance between all pairs of objects from each cluster. This method is commonly used in bioinformatics and other fields for phylogenetic analysis.
