Nitroso compounds
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007971
Organic compounds containing a nitroso functional group (-NO) covalently bonded to a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom. These compounds are characterized by the presence of a nitrogen-oxygen double bond. They can exist in monomeric or dimeric forms and are often involved in redox reactions or as intermediates in organic synthesis.
