Non-uniform sampling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008060
A data acquisition strategy where measurements are not taken at equally spaced intervals in time or frequency. This approach is often employed in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to reduce acquisition time or to improve the resolution of specific spectral regions. Specialized reconstruction algorithms are required to process the irregularly sampled data.
