Nuclear magneton
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008108
The natural unit for expressing the magnetic moment of a heavy particle, such as a proton or neutron, caused by its spin angular momentum. It is a fundamental physical constant that relates the elementary charge and proton rest mass to magnetic properties. Its value is approximately 5.0508 x 10^-27 joules per tesla.
