Magnetogyric ratio

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006916

The ratio of a particle's magnetic dipole moment to its angular momentum. This constant relates the magnetic properties of a particle to its rotational motion. It is a fundamental property for nuclei and electrons, often denoted by γ, and is expressed in units of radians per tesla-second (rad T⁻¹ s⁻¹).
