Otic

Relating to, or located in or near, the ear. The term is used in pharmacology to describe a route of administration where a drug is applied directly into the ear canal, such as with otic solutions for treating ear infections. In toxicology, it pertains to effects on the auditory system; for example, ototoxicity is the property of being toxic to the ear, specifically the cochlea or auditory nerve.
