Paraffin impregnated graphite electrode
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008441
A type of carbon electrode where the pores of a graphite rod are filled with paraffin wax. This impregnation reduces the porosity of the electrode surface, preventing electrolyte penetration and improving mechanical stability. It is commonly used in electroanalytical chemistry for studies requiring a stable and reproducible electrode surface.
