Particulate carbon
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013378
Finely divided solid carbon material existing as discrete particles, rather than as a continuous bulk solid. These particles can vary widely in size, shape, and internal structure, depending on their origin and processing. Examples include carbon black, activated carbon, and graphite powders, which find applications in pigments, adsorbents, and conductive fillers.
