A solid dosage form composed of finely divided dry particles, intended for internal or external use. These particles are obtained by grinding, crushing, or pulverizing solid substances into a uniform consistency. Powders can be formulated for direct application, reconstitution into liquids, or encapsulation into other dosage forms.
