Divided powder

A pharmaceutical preparation consisting of a single dose of a powdered drug mixture, individually wrapped in a sachet or paper. This dosage form is intended for oral administration, usually after being mixed with water or another liquid. Unlike bulk powders from which a patient measures each dose, divided powders provide a pre-measured, convenient, and accurate amount of the medication.
