Uniaxial pressing
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012426
A method of compacting powdered materials, such as polymer or ceramic powders, by applying pressure in a single direction within a die. This process shapes the powder into a desired form and increases its density by reducing void spaces between particles. It is a common technique for preparing green bodies before sintering or further processing.
