Permeability of vacuum

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008668

A fundamental physical constant, denoted by μ₀, representing the ability of a vacuum to permit the formation of a magnetic field. It is a component of Maxwell's equations and is exactly defined in the SI system. Its value is 4π × 10⁻⁷ henries per meter (H/m).
