Photoadsorption area number

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008796

The number of molecules of a specific substance that photoadsorb on a unit area of a photocatalyst surface under specified conditions of irradiation. This quantity provides a measure of the photocatalyst's capacity to bind adsorbates upon illumination. It is expressed in units of molecules per square meter (molecules m⁻²).
