Dynamic photoadsorption process
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003498
A process on an illuminated photocatalyst in which photoadsorption of a species and its photodesorption occur at the same time, so the same species is continually taken up and released while the solid is photoexcited. It is therefore a dynamic balance between two light-driven opposing steps rather than one-way uptake.
