Photoadsorption
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008795
The adsorption of a substance onto a surface that is induced or enhanced by the absorption of light. This process typically involves the formation of new active sites or the modification of existing ones on the adsorbent surface due to photon energy. Photoadsorption is a key phenomenon in photocatalysis and surface science.
