Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009459

A longitudinal depression that forms within the primitive streak during gastrulation in early embryonic development. This structure serves as the site where epiblast cells ingress and migrate inward to form the mesoderm and endoderm layers of the embryo.
