Reacting bond rules
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009962
A set of qualitative principles used to predict the structure of transition states in organic reactions. These rules consider the changes in bond orders and charges as reactants transform into products. They provide a framework for understanding reaction mechanisms and predicting the effects of structural modifications on reaction rates.
