Reconstituted water
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010026
Water prepared by adding specific salts and minerals to deionized or distilled water to achieve a desired chemical composition. This process allows for the creation of water with controlled hardness, alkalinity, and ionic strength, mimicking natural water bodies for experimental purposes. It is frequently used in ecotoxicological studies to standardize test conditions.
