Relaxant

A substance that reduces tension or stiffness in muscles or other tissues. These agents act on the central nervous system or directly on muscle fibers to induce a state of relaxation. Examples include muscle relaxants used to alleviate spasms and anxiolytics that reduce psychological tension.
