Reversible transition
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010324
A phase transition that can proceed in both forward and reverse directions under specific conditions, allowing the system to return to its initial state without any permanent change. This type of transition is characterized by a well-defined equilibrium temperature and pressure. Melting and freezing of pure substances are examples of reversible transitions.
