Rhabdomyolysis

A severe medical condition characterized by the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to the release of muscle cell contents into the bloodstream. This release includes myoglobin, which can cause kidney damage and acute kidney failure. It can be triggered by trauma, extreme exertion, certain medications, or toxins.
