Segmented copolymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010661
A copolymer composed of relatively long sequences (segments) of two or more different types of monomer units linked together. These segments often exhibit distinct physical and chemical properties, leading to materials with a combination of characteristics from each block. Examples include thermoplastic elastomers, which have alternating hard and soft segments.
