Series
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010770
A number of measured values that are equivalent to each other for statistical purposes, for example the results of repeated analyses of a presumed homogeneous substance by a single analytical method. The mean and the standard deviation are calculated from such a series. The range of a series is the difference between its largest and smallest members.
