Structural proteomics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011495
A subfield of proteomics focused on determining the three-dimensional structures of proteins, their complexes, and their interactions within a cell. It employs techniques such as X-ray crystallography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and cryo-electron microscopy. The goal is to understand protein function by elucidating their spatial arrangements.
