Functional proteomics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004716

The study of protein functions, interactions, and modifications within a biological system, often in a high-throughput manner. This field investigates how proteins work together to carry out cellular processes and how their activities are regulated. It complements structural proteomics by focusing on dynamic aspects of protein behavior.
