Target measurement uncertainty

A specified maximum acceptable measurement uncertainty for a particular analytical result, determined based on the intended use of that result. This value is established prior to the measurement process and serves as a benchmark for evaluating the suitability of an analytical method. It is often expressed as a standard uncertainty or expanded uncertainty.
