Targeted lipidomics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011824

An analytical approach within lipidomics that focuses on the quantitative analysis of a predefined set of specific lipid species or classes. This method employs highly selective and sensitive techniques, such as mass spectrometry, to accurately measure the concentrations of these known lipids. It is often used to investigate specific metabolic pathways or biomarkers.
