Tears

The aqueous fluid secreted by the lacrimal glands, primarily composed of water, electrolytes, proteins, lipids, and mucins. This complex mixture serves to lubricate and protect the ocular surface, as well as to provide nutrients to the cornea. Human tears typically have a pH between 7.3 and 7.7.
