A prefix used in inorganic nomenclature to indicate a cluster of four atoms, typically of the same element, arranged in a tetrahedral geometry. This prefix specifies the spatial arrangement of atoms within a molecular entity. For example, a tetrahedro-tetraphosphorus molecule consists of four phosphorus atoms forming a tetrahedron.
