Tetralogy of Fallot

A congenital heart defect characterized by four abnormalities: a ventricular septal defect, pulmonary stenosis, an overriding aorta, and right ventricular hypertrophy. This condition results in oxygen-poor blood flowing out of the heart to the body. Surgical correction is typically required in infancy or early childhood.
