Cyanosis

A bluish discoloration of the skin or mucous membranes resulting from an inadequate amount of oxygenated hemoglobin in the blood. This condition indicates poor circulation or insufficient oxygenation of the blood. It can be observed in the lips, nail beds, and earlobes, and is a sign of underlying medical conditions.
