Toxicity curve

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012163

A graphical representation plotting the time required to produce a specific toxic effect against the concentration of a substance or the intensity of a stimulus. The resulting curve shows the relationship between exposure duration and the concentration needed to elicit a defined response, such as mortality. This graph is a tool for visualizing how the potency of a toxicant changes with the length of exposure.
