Toxicophobia

An abnormal and persistent fear of poisons or of being poisoned, which is considered a specific phobia. This condition can lead to obsessive behaviors such as excessive washing or avoidance of certain foods, chemicals, or environments perceived as contaminated. Unlike a rational concern for toxic substances, toxicophobia is an irrational fear that significantly disrupts a person's daily life.
