Chemophobia

An irrational aversion to or fear of chemicals, particularly synthetic ones. This apprehension often stems from a misunderstanding of chemical principles and the omnipresence of chemicals in everyday life, both natural and man-made. It can lead to distrust of scientific advancements and a preference for products labeled as 'chemical-free', despite all matter being composed of chemicals.
