Triazenes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012283
Organic compounds characterized by a three-nitrogen chain containing one double bond (N=N-N), formally derived from triazene (HN=N-NH2). These compounds are often formed by the reaction of diazonium salts with primary or secondary amines. Triazenes can exist in tautomeric forms and are sometimes referred to as diazoamino compounds.
