Aldazines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000371
Organic compounds formed by the condensation reaction of two molecules of an aldehyde with one molecule of hydrazine. This reaction results in a product containing a C=N-N=C linkage, where the carbon atoms are derived from the aldehyde carbonyl groups. Aldazines are a subclass of azines and are characterized by their symmetrical structure around the N-N bond.
