Ultrasonography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012400
A medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of internal body structures. The sound waves are emitted by a transducer and reflect off tissues, with the echoes being processed to form a visual representation. This non-invasive method is widely used in obstetrics to monitor fetal development and diagnose abnormalities during gestation.
