Vehicle

An inert substance, often a liquid, used to dissolve, suspend, or carry an active chemical agent or drug. It facilitates the administration of the active substance to a biological system without contributing to its pharmacological or toxicological effects. Common examples include water, saline solutions, or specific oils used in drug formulations.
