Wild-type receptor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012700
A receptor protein that possesses the most common or naturally occurring amino acid sequence within a population. This form is considered the standard against which variant or mutated receptors are compared. It typically exhibits the expected binding affinity and signaling properties for its natural ligand.
